Above all, there is Arceus. They sit in a pocket unreachable by mortals, watching the progress of their world. While once unfeeling, recent additions to the Hall of Origin have brought about a new era.
Arceus created Mew, and by extension, all Pokemon. They also designated specific powers to Legends they created, and later fused the identity of Legends with humans. They pull all the strings in the background, attempting to perfect the harmony in their universe.
Arceus was not always a ‘pure’ being – they had emotions once, but voluntarily severed them after a grave disaster.
But after the smoke of the final battle cleared, emotions welled up and overwhelmed Arceus enough to the point of their return.
It’s been a long time coming, and Arceus has made many mistakes… so, it’s about time they work to correct them.
Appearance
Arceus’s natural form is that of the pokemon Arceus. However, after introduction to Skymom, Arceus created a humanoid form they could switch to.
Arceus’s humanoid form is very pale and slim, and their height can be anywhere between 6-10 feet tall. They have long white hair tied into a ponytail, with a dark grey streak running down. Their eyes are red with green scleras, and they have 4 eyes.
They wear a two-tone dark gray and white dress, with a belt that resembles their halo’s motif. Their halo floats behind their head, and they wear a simple headpiece.
Their true form is incomprehensible to mortal eyes, and it’s for the best it remains unseen.

Personality
For the longest time, they simply didn’t have one. Arceus severed their emotions and willpower when Ramiel became unstable, removing any semblance of personality.They were a blank state, and they made their decisions based on their view of balance. Still, they were capable of recognizing incredible feats and catastrophes and their weight.
Before severing their emotions and after their return, Arceus was capable of experiencing the full range of human emotion, though their personality did lean towards and serious and deadpan side.
After the return of their emotions, their way of speaking is notably tinged with a constant air of guilt.
Story

Skills
Emissary of Arceus:
- They are the true emissary, and the pure and final being. They created the universe, and have complete and final control over it. They have all the power of the universe and creation at their disposal.
- True immortality:
- Arceus is one of the few true immortals in the world, which should be a given. They could potentially be killed, but a being that powerful surely couldn’t exist.
- Creation of legends:
- Arceus was the original creator of all the legends, created as specialists for certain jobs they would normally do themselves. They can create new ones as well, should they decide to.
- Literally they’re god
Relationships
Skymother – Partner
Their initial love was sweet, but Arceus was convinced they had hurt Skymother beyond repair. Despite what they thought, however, Skymother was willing to give them a chance and help them recover – a chance that Arceuss isn’t taking lightly.
Ramiel – Child
Arceus is aware that there’s nothing to be done that can fix their relationship with Ramiel. They’ve accepted this, and give them their own space and respects their boundaries.
Emmy – Subordinate
They believe Emmy is a unique kind of powerful, and their choice to elevate her to an ultimate god wasn’t made lightly. They appreciate that she would take the time to try and talk to them during the period where Arceus’s emotions were severed.
Renee – Subordinate
Arceus is not very in touch with the importance of the bond between pokemon and humans, but they do know Renee is. They don’t bother her much, because ever since Renee became the patron god of pokemon trainers, work has gone smoothly.
Anniel – Subordinate…?
Anniel is strange, and Arceus doesn’t enjoy keeping up with whatever antics she tries to pull. Still, they’re aware that she’s a being beyond their comprehension, and it’s best to just let her do her thing.
Trivia
- Their pocket can be reached and visited by most major legends (i.e. Rayquaza, Zygarde, Kyurem). Mewtwo has been granted access, but refuses to visit. Major legends are expected to give updates on their respective regions.
- Arceus granted Pearl to Emmy (and by extension, Renee) after she prevented a galaxy-collapsing calamity.
- ‘Lunala’ was a petname Arceus gave to Skymom – which ended up being used by humans who worshiped her.
- They have free access to Ultra Space, but refuse to go under any circumstances.
- Arceus has made the executive decision to kill some legends, though the numbers are very few.
