Colress Harmonia

Though he might be a little unconventional, Colress is a skilled scientist who vows to solve the unsolvable.

His origins might not be the most normal, but Colress was still raised in a loving family – and while he was never the most social, his best friend made up for more than enough.

He always had a love of experimenting, and always wanted to find the missing link between humans and pokemon. And while the circumstances weren’t ideal, he was able to further his research while in Team Plasma, which he joined at age 18.

While Plasma wasn’t the best place, it was through his semi-independence there that he met his future wife, and later, his future husband as well.

Colress now lives with his partners in the Harmonia Mansion in Lostlorn forest, where he conducts his endless experiments and tests in the house’s secret subterranean laboratory.

Appearance

Colress is 6 feet tall, with a rather lanky build. He has light blonde hair, with an odd-looking blue ahoge swirling around his head. He has yellow eyes, and wears blue-bridged glasses.

He’s almost always seen with a labcoat on, though what he wears underneath depends on his current level of (dis)organization. Most often, he wears a black t-shirt, spotted PJ pants, and slippers.

Personality

Just like the rest of his family, Colress is… eccentric. He holds a lot of passion for his work and interests, and even though he’s normally a bit reserved, asking him the right questions will cause him to infodump endlessly.

He’s learned to stand up for himself more and be less socially awkward, thanks to Angie, and later Lune. Still, he can easily become embarrassed or flustered by compliments or affection.

While he doesn’t lack empathy, he does have a bit skewed perception of it, often feeling either hyper empathy or nothing at all depending on the person and situation.

Skills

Transformation:

• Colress is an incredibly talented shapeshifter, and can copy the form of things he’s seen with ease. Though, like most ditto, he’s left with a ‘quirk’ – that being the blue ahoge showing up in most forms.
  • Biologically, Colress’s human form is indistinguishable from any other human.
  • His second most common form is that of a lopunny, dubbed his ‘pokesona’.

SCIENCE:

• Biochemistry, specifically! While he’s also a very, very talented engineer, Colress is a biochemist at heart. While he might be conducting experiments of… dubious legality, he still enjoys being the one to make breakthroughs.
  • He’ll often experiment on himself, and if something goes wrong, he can simply degenerate whatever limb he was working on.
  • He considers his research on the link between pokemon and humans to be complete, and is now working towards investigating the true power of illusion.
