Himemu always had an admiration for the fast paced and glamorous lifestyle held by the street racing cliques in her home area. Ever since she was a preteen, she’d sneak out of her room and navigate the maze that is the Ultra Plant in order to watch what glimpses she could of the cars racing by far past her bedtime.
Since she’s grown up though, Himemu has generally accepted that high-risk drift racing isn’t something she’d be good at… instead, her regular attendance to touge races gave her another opportunity.
Being good-looking and peppy is more than enough of a qualification to kick off the races, after all! Himemu is the beloved race queen for the highlands touge clique, with her energy for the races being infectious – never failing to hype up a crowd.
Being in such close proximity to the drivers has its perks too… while Himemu plays off flirtatious banter with the drivers like it’s no sweat, she’s a hopeless romantic at her core. Particularly, her feelings for the clique’s top driver seem to be nearing a boiling point.
So… when her crush was suddenly dethroned and went missing after an accident… Himemu figured it she couldn’t sit on her feelings any longer.
Even after finding the former champ though, Himemu finds her words caught in her throat. Between being Meiling’s personal hypegal as she recovers, and Meiling’s mysterious new rival having eyes for Himemu as well… can Himemu’s heart stay silent much longer?
Appearance
As a kitsura, Himemu is capable of taking on both a humanform and beastform visage – though the latter of which can only be maintained while her eyes are tightly shut. Due to her lifestyle, Himemu vastly prefers her humanform visage.
In her humanform appearance, Himemu is 5’04” (162cm) with a skinny build. She has fluffy, long, light blonde hair tied into a high ponytail, with folded-over ears atop her head. She has brown eyes, pink circular cheek pouches, and a legs furred just above the knee.
She has a roundish fluffy tail, being the same color as her hair with a pinkish ‘overcoat’.
In her beastform appearance, Himemu stands at just over a foot tall and retains the ears, tail, and general coloration of her humanform appearance.
Regardless of form, Himemu keeps the brown swirl-patterned scarf she received after birth on at practically all times.

Personality
Himemu is much more of a ‘street smart’ gal – she may come off as ditzy on more technical things, but she’s got an incredible social aptitude. Her charismatic pep quickly livens up conversations, and she’ll gladly carry the role of socializing in a group conversation with ease.
She prides herself in knowing the word on the street, and gossips frequently – sometimes unintentionally.
However, under all her charisma, Himemu struggles to open up to others beyond surface-level or express more meaningful feelings of love or friendship with a serious weight to them. When she tries to bring these up, others just assume she’s playing around… and Himemu just rolls with it.
She figures that she’ll have to be serious one day, but in the present, the stress of opening up isn’t worth it quite yet.

- Kitsura are capable of switching between a humanoid form and beastform at will. Typically, the beastform can only be properly maintained if the individuals eyes are tightly shut.
- Cheek pouches:
- Though their exact origin is unknown, a kitsura’s cheek pouches are capable of absorbing and channeling a small amount of divine energy, though it can increase with practice. However, many are unaware of this ability altogether, and it is often thought to be a hoax.
- Himemu’s opinion on occultism is a common one for those in her area – being that it’s ‘cosmic weirdo stuff’.

- Himemu is incredibly charming, and is easily able to sway social situations in her favor. She’s always had some kind of knack for it, likely due to being so talkative growing up and learning how to master the social game early on.
- She doesn’t mind having to ‘play dumb’ to get what she wants, and finds it sort of funny when she does.
Relationships
Meiling – Crush
Himemu, like many, was enchanted by Meiling’s skill and confidence… which was only more powerful being the one to congratulate her up close, time and time again. But after Meiling’s catastrophic defeat… everyone practically forgot about the driver, and Himemu felt it wasn’t fair.
After seeking the driver out, Himemu has vowed to be Meiling’s personal hypegal as she trains back to her former glory… even if Himemu can’t help but be incredibly flustered when they make eye contact.
Girl – Alluring
Girl is mysterious, sly, and imposing… while Himemu feels that the shift in power within the clique isn’t ideal, she can’t deny something about Girl is intriguing. It would seem that Girl has eyes on Himemu too, knowing her connection with Meiling.
Birdie – Stylist
Birdie practically watched Himemu grow up, as Himemu has been seeing her for hair appointments for a long time. The two like to share all kinds of gossip, and Birdie often gives Himemu relationship advice.
Minor relationships
Takemi – Acquaintance
Himemu doesn’t know Takemi too closely, but she often eats at her restaurant after riding along with Meiling – and is quite a fan of Takemi’s cooking.
Tamaki – Clique Driver
Tamaki is a driver Himemu sees frequently, but hasn’t spoken to much since… they never seem to win any races. She feels kind of bad for them.
Trivia
- Himemu prefers savory food over sweet food.
- She’s quite agile, being able to navigate backstreets and rooftop shortcuts effectively – she’s just not very fast while doing so.
- Himemu does not have a driver’s license, as she grew up in the more densely-packed areas of the Ultra Plant where vehicles were less practical.
- When offered the chance to drive by others when she brings this up, she refuses – citing she doesn’t want to damage the vehicle by accident.
- While the Ultra Plant never gets too cold to begin with, Himemu finds she only ever needs a light jacket.
- Multiple people can attest that Himemu tends to always be very warm – even just standing nearby her, she practically radiates it.
