Since anyone can remember, the kingdoms of the Ultra Jungle and Ultra Desert have been harshly split – but with a big dream and determination, a gutsy ambassador set her goal to change that.
While Leilani grew up with a strong sense of community due to her kingdom’s culture, she was always enamored by the possibilities of those who lived outside the kingdom – and though she’d explored ‘permissible’ locales, she was told that the nearby desert and its kingdom were strictly off limits.
Leilani was confident that she’d be able to get along with whoever awaited there, but followed the word of her community closely anyways.
That was, until the river ran dry.
Panic spread through the jungle and Leilani’s normally peaceful kingdom was at it’s breaking point.
So, despite everything she was taught, Leilani followed the dry river through into the desert to get answers.
What she would end up finding was the like-mindedly panicked princess of the neighboring kingdom, as well as a few others as equally puzzled.
With total disaster on the horizon, can Leilani use her grit and determination to help the group fix the problems faced before it’s too late?
Appearance
Leilani is 5’6″, with a lean build. She was salmon colored hair with spotted leopard-like ears, and red eyes. Parts of her body are covered with fur that matches the color of her hair, dotted with leopard spots.
Per her species, Leilani possesses diamond-shaped charms from her ears, a wing-like cloak, and a large, leafy-tipped tail.

Personality
Many call Leilani the ‘big sister’ of the Ultra Jungle, because she acts in a way that reminds other of a responsible older sister quite often. She’s very outgoing and loves to encourage her people, but can be prone to taking on too many of other’s problems to try and solve herself.
A notable quirk is, due to her culture, how she can be particularly competitive around physical activity. Though she’s not a sore loser, and instead finds that both winning or losing can bring their own new chances.
Story
I’ll get to it… eventually.
Skills
Species abilities:
- Ability to float midair:
- While Leilani cannot gain altitude, she’s able to float and glide as she descends – which she believes is more than enough, considering she lives in the canopy layer.
- Resiliency and regeneration:
- Leilani’s species is capable of healing minor cuts, scrapes, and bruises more quickly, with their resilience to these being much higher than a human’s.
Stamina:
- While much of Ultra Jungle’s residents prefer strength and muscle, Leilan has found herself preferring sport based of endurance. Because of this, she has very high stamina and can keep up a high level activity for a long time before getting tired.
- She’s also quite agile – while she may not be able to fly, the way she quickly glides and navigates around the jungle reminds many of flight.
Relationships
Athena – Girlfriend
Leilani is smitten by Athena, and feels like it was fate that someone like her was awaiting in the neighboring kingdom. Though they’ve only just gotten together romantically, Leilani can’t wait for whenever there’s room in their busy schedules to be together.
Dina & Rosetta – Allies
Though Leilani isn’t as close to the other members of the ‘let’s figure out what’s going on’ group, she still finds she’s able to work with them well – even if Dina and Rosetta would rather listen to each other than to Leilani.
Coco – Close friends
Leilani sees Coco frequently around the Pheromosan palace, and always appreciated her openness towards Leilani as an outsider. As Leilani got to know Coco more, the two have become close friends, with Leilani giving Coco tips on boosting confidence.
Amity – Sees around
Though only seen infrequently around the Pheromosan palace, Leilani judges that by the rude gestures, Amity isn’t the friendliest. Though, Athena just says it’s how Amity acts around strangers, so maybe Leilani will take initiative to talk one day to see what she’s actually like.
Frank – Annoying
Frank is an even worse case than Amity, and Leilani has no idea why Athena keeps him around. Though they haven’t spoke mutually, Frank is often there to make snarky remarks to annoy Leilani.
Trivia
- Like the Ultra Desert, signal-exchanging based technology is not common in the Ultra Jungle. That being said, there is a broadcast of wrestling matches that Leilani sometimes commentates on.
- Athena and Leilani like to bicker about whether it’s hotter in the Desert or the Jungle as an inside joke.
- Though Leilani has briefly visited Megalopolis and the Ultra Station for ambassador work, she doesn’t like visiting due to the lack of natural light.
- It’s alleged that Leilani’s ancestors are from outside Ultra Space, and not created by Skymother. Because of this, Leilani does not hold any particular reverence for The Skymother.
