Lucas

Lucas is friendly, if not a bit odd at times. The life he led was relatively normal for someone as geeky as him – he was a LARPing enthusiast, with his main character being a priest of Latios.

But when an accident with a prop weapon occurred, his friend suddenly turned their back on him – as they’d rather pretend he went ‘missing’ than take responsibility.

Thankfully, through the power on ‘RNG’, as he’d call it, Lucas was revived as the emissary of his character’s namesake. Though, he was all alone – until a mysterious woman named Felicity showed up, offering to teach him of his new powers.

Through Felicity, Lucas met Apollo, and the three have sort of formed a rag-tag friend group at Felicity’s will. Lucas is a bit confused, but is excited to see where his new friends take him.

Appearance

Lucas is 5’4″ with an average build. He has light blue hair, red eyes, and wears silver glasses.

He’s often seen wearing casual, easy-to-wear clothing – unless he’s doing anything in costume, in which he has a custom robe and accessories for his character.

Personality

Lucas is very passionate and enthusiastic in regards to his interests, sometimes to a degree others would label as ‘obnoxious’. But Lucas doesn’t really care about what others think, and prioritizes his own enjoyment.

He tends to be a bit socially awkward, because he experienced such harsh betrayal by his former friends. Still, he always means well when communicating and is very agreeable.

Story

I’ll get to it… eventually.

Skills

Emissary of Latios:

  • Identification of other legends:
    • Latias and Latios were created as messengers to aid the peacekeeper Rayquaza. As such. they are the only legends with the ability to identify another legend while they’re in human form.
      • The two also have a semi-accurate internal idea of where every legend is located if they think about it.
  • Conditional immortality:
    • Legends stop aging physically at age 21, after that, they do not age and as such, cannot die from old age, though they can be killed through other means.

Storytelling:

  • Even though he usually never took on the role of DM in his old friendgroup, Lucas is a talented storyteller at very good at improvising. He occasionally write campaigns he’ll never use in his free time.

Relationships

Felicity – Sister figure

Lucas looks up to Felicity a lot, and is a bit over-hyped about their whole ‘legendary dynamic’ – thinking it’s like something out of a video game. That aside, he finds that she’s incredibly trustworthy and caring, and a figure Lucas didn’t know he needed.

Apollo – Idolizes

Apollo was Lucas’s first case using his legendary identification powers – which triggered when he found Apollo’s videos online. Though less close with them than he is with Felicity, Apollo is an inspirational figure to Lucas. He wishes they’d get along with Felicity better.

Marie – Camp counselor

Per Felicity’s suggestion, Lucas has begun attending a ‘legendary summer camp’ off the coast of Slateport. He thinks the ‘counselor’ Marie is cool, but is a bit sad she’s the less talkative, reserved type – he thinks she’d have interesting things to say.

Trivia

  • He’s mostly a fan of RPGs and ‘casual’ games, not so much action and shooters.
  • He’s unsure what he wants to do in the future, but hopes Apollo and Felicity can help him find a path in life. Recently, he’s begun attending the ‘legendary summer camp’, which he hopes will help too.
  • Despite being Latios, Lucas does not know Aster or Emmy – as Felicity proxies contact for him.
  • Lucas lives with his parents, who are both kind and supportive – and welcoming when Felicity moved in.
