Maribelle has always been a girl from a small town, but she dreams to one day make her moves on the city.
She’s lived her whole life in Laverre city, and currently works in her parent’s bakery, upholding her family’s tradition. But deep down, Maribelle has a passion for something much different – she’s an up and coming fashion designer. She’s most often the flashiest one around, but she doesn’t mind. She hopes to one day make it big in Lumiose city.
But currently, she lives with her girlfriend Ren and her odd new roommate Callie, both of whom she adores. Maribelle is ready to make her move on the fashion world, but she’s alright with waiting just a bit.

Personality
Maribelle is sweet, and everyone seems to know it. She always wears her heart on her sleeve, and seems to have a lot of love to spread with everyone.
She’s a positive force wherever she goes, and always deals with her problems calmly and compassionately.
She’s a bit tired of being seen as weak at times due to her easygoing and friendly nature, but tries to not mind it much.
She’s especially affectionate towards her girlfriend.

Baking:
- It’s been in her family for generations, so it’s no wonder Maribelle is a skilled baker. She works at her family’s bakery as her primary job.
- Though, outside of work, she only really bakes for others as a gift, and almost never for herself.
- She LOVES decorating cakes.
Fashion:
- Maribelle’s true passion – she’s wanted to be a fashion designer ever since she saw one of Kalos’s premier fashion shows on TV. She primarily goes for a very fairy-like and cutesy look in all her clothes, and one day hopes to go to the very show that kickstarted her interest in the first place.
Relationships
Ren – Girlfriend
Ren and Maribelle were high school sweethearts, and still love each other years later. Maribelle particularly enjoys creating outfits for Ren to wear, with her unique fashion input.
Callie – Roommate
Maribelle adores Callie, and finds her dedication to live as a human admirable. Maribelle has sworn to do everything in her power to make sure that Callie can live a life free from danger from now on.
Mal – Twin
Mal’s ‘death’ is the one thing that serves as a tugging negative weight in Maribelle’s life. As twins, the two were close – with Mal inspiring Maribelle to become a designer in the first place. She misses them.
Trivia
- She’d make clothes for Callie as well, but Callie seems to like her old sweater.
- She doesn’t actually like sweets very much in general.
- Sweaters are her go-to gift, along with fresh bread or sweets.
- While her current designer’s motif is based off of a shiny clefairy, she’s never actually seen one in real life.
