Meli was always a city girl, and was told by her family to seize any chance she got.
So, when there was a talent call for ‘a sensational music duo’, Meli gave her shot.
What would follow would be Meli’s rise to stardom as the headliner of an idol duo, and her growing dissatisfaction and general bitterness.
Her contract was unfair, and though she had the mutual support of her idol partner Bella, the growing relationship between the two only seemed to cause more problems.
Feeling trapped in between her contract and invasive fans, Meli wasn’t sure what to do. But with an anonymous cry for help, Meli was contacted by the premiera of the idol scene herself.
With Lune’s personal guidance and pressure on her producer, will Meli be able to regain her lost passion?

Meli is 5’4″, with a thin build. She has brown eyes, and long hair bleached blonde, with tricolored streaks on her bangs.
Her idol outfit matches with Bella, with her signature color scheme being rainbow-themed.

Personality
Meli doesn’t handle stress well, and though she was initally pretty optimistic and bright, the stress from her occupation has stained her outlook considerably.
She easily becomes irritable and snappy when she’s not putting on a peppy stage persona, and finds herself to have a low ‘breaking point’ threshold.
She generally finds it difficult to trust others, fearing they’ll always ‘want something’ from her or have otherwise ulterior motives.
Though support from Bella and Lune has picked Meli up a bit, she still feels she has a long way to go to regain her peace of mind.

Singing:
- Meli was always told she had a uniquely enchanting singing voice growing up, which was the primary reason that she auditioned for the idol duo in the first place. She’s notable for her bubbly tone and stamina while singing, though overwork has had the consequence of slowly straining her voice more.
Relationships
Bella – Girlfriend
Meli feels Bella is one of the only people she can truly trust anymore, and that it’s them against the world. The two are dating in secret from their producer, and they (semi) mutually support each other through their career’s nonsense.
Lune – Ally
Before getting to know her, Meli did not have the kindest opinion of Lune due to her producer’s pressure to view competition as threats. But after Lune proved evident to be a helpful ally, Meli was able to relax. She enjoys watching her scare and otherwise intimidate her producer, and wishes she could have that power someday, too.
Trivia
- She doesn’t talk to her family much anymore, but doesn’t mind this as she feels they view her as a trophy or accomplishment since she made it big.
- Meli is acutely aware of her fanbase and how unpleasant she feels about them, mocking the worst of her creepy superfans in group chats.
- She does find some memes about her funny, though. Those fans can stay.
- She’s trying not to fall into reclusion outside of work, and her main way of getting out tends to be visiting video game storefronts for promo events (in disguise).
- Despite always growing up in the big city and living in a city her whole life, Lune’s living situation makes her dream of moving to the countryside with Bella when it’s all over.
