As the sole Hisuian zorua offspring of the Czar and Czarina of the Sinnoh wildlands, Mishka was expected to take over his father’s role. But then he met the nearby human hermit Sasha… and decided he wanted to be human.
For 18 years, Mishka practiced his human form in secret, hoping to one day convince Sasha to take him to where humans lived. He was never able to, so he just made the trek himself, despite his father’s disapproval.
Though, finding yourself all alone in a big city is hard – especially when you’re an incredibly rare and valuable species of pokemon.
Mishka was found by Vanya, who struck a deal with him – he’d use his illusions enhance her magic performances, and he could have safety from the authorities.
So he agreed – and while staying with Vanya, found friendship in a lonely librarian as well.
Together, the trio would set out on a journey of knowledge and glamour, with Mishka honing his abilities and grasp on his dual identity.
With a new teacher and friends he could rely on for anything, will Mishka finally be able to prove that he’s ‘enough’ to his father?
Appearance
Mishka is 5’3″, with an average build. He has white, red-tipped hair, with ears on the top of his head that he usually keeps hidden. He has red eyes, the scleras of which will become yellow if exhausted or angry.
He has a rather… odd fashion sense, due to most of his fashion exposure being from social media. He’s always seen wearing a black beanie and fox-motif necklace and collar.

Personality
Mishka is an odd fellow! While Hisuian zoroark is historically known to be very hostile, especially towards humans, Mishka is enamored by them. He takes most of his conversation cues from video-based social media and Sasha… which isn’t a great combo.
He often comes across as overly-enthusiastic, and squees quite often. Which is to say, he acts like the fanboy he is.
He’s loyal to his core, and would depend those dearest to him with all the power he has.
Though when caught off guard or angry, he quickly shows a ‘spiteful’ side – often filling the immediate area with a heavy, unnerving energy.
That being said, it’s hard to get Mishka angry – unless you’re targeting those he cares about.

Skills
Zoroark:
- Being the son of the Czar of the Mountain, Mishka is very, very powerful. But because he’s so laid-back, nobody has ever really seen him go all-out before – and perhaps that’s a good thing.
- In technical terms, he’s just under the same level of sheer power as Lune or Zhenya.
- Despite being extremely powerful, he cannot figure out how human ears work and chooses to not hide them with illusion, and cover them with a hat.
Relationships
Vanya – BFF
Mishka sees Vanya as his best friend, and would follow her to the ends of the earth. In Mishka’s eyes, nobody out there can match just how cool Vanya is, and he admires her greatly.
Dmitri – Best friend
The energies the two have are starkly opposite – the nonetheless, Mishka and Dmitri are close friends, with Mishka’s energy bringing Dmitri out of his shell. When not with Vanya, Mishka tends to stick to Dmitri.
Zhenya – Mentor
While Mishka was originally quite intimidated by Zhenya, he’s gone to seeing her with an almost familial fondness since she’s taken him under her wing. He thinks that she’s an excellent teacher – not just about combat, but about the world itself as well.
Sasha – Friend
Sasha has always been a source of wise words in Mishka’s eyes, and they served as his inspiration for humanity. Though, Mishka will sometimes ignore Sasha’s advice out of stubbornness.
The Czar & Czarina of the mountain – Parents
In retrospect, Mishka’s view of his parents is mixed. His father was too harsh and wanted to impose his ‘legacy’ onto Mishka, while his mother was a degree too smothering. He still cares about them, but is glad to be out on his own now.
Trivia
- The Sinnohan Wildlife Control is aware of Mishka’s existence in Canalave and is actively looking for him.
- Because Vanya’s apartment is on the smaller side, he sleeps on the foot of her bed all curled up.
- He’s still learning how to blend in, and as such his way or speaking or walking could be considered ‘odd’.
- He’s only allowed to browse video social media as ‘learning material’, because he almost revealed his identity by accident when posting. He uses Vanya’s phone.
