–Souadou, And then there were none
To most people, Souadou is simply a notable cave explorer. But after years of hiding what she considered to be her greatest secret, she finally feels as though things are coming together.
When she was 13, Souadou became trapped in a cave-in that turned deadly. But through the blessing of the god of life, she was revived and gifted with the power of the god of precious stones.
She took this blessing as a sign that this was what she was meant to do, and continued her path of spelunking and discovery.
When a similar tragic miracle befell her partner Tiphanie, Souadou fell headfirst herself into the world of the divines. Now, along with Tiphanie, she hopes to navigate this strange unseen world – and maybe avoid the mob, if she can.

Souadou is 5’7″, with an average-fit build. She has dyed lavender pink hair, and pink eyes with a mole just below the right eye.
She very much favors function over fashion, and can often be seen wearing the same outfit she takes caving. Though, she always wears a kandi bracelet that Tiphanie gave her.

Personality
Souadou is generally a very confident person, both in herself and her abilities. She embraces the fact that she’s good at what she does, and allows her desire to discover and improve drive her forwards. If prompted, she could easily give a presentation on her interests.
However, she does have some trouble communicating her thoughts properly and can be perceived as a bit awkward at times, and considers the only person to truly ‘get’ her to be Tiphanie.
While she doesn’t worry about her own problems much, she does worry quite a bit about others and will make attempts to be a voice of reason – even if she should really stay quiet in the situation.

- As the god of gemstones and caves, Souadou possesses the ability to create any mineral at will. This includes rare are useful stones, such as key and mega stones.
- However, due to caving being Souadou’s hobby, she prefers to not use this power and finds stones for her collection herself. However, she’s not opposed to creating stones for Tiphanie to use.

- Historically, Diancie was always considered to be Zygarde’s ‘knight in shining armor’. After finding this out, Souadou feels it couldn’t fit her more, and feels as though it proves Tiphanie and her are fated to stay at each other’s sides.

- Legends stop aging physically at age 21, after that, they do not age and as such, cannot die from old age, though they can be killed through other means.
Caving:
- Due to her hometown’s location, Souadou has grown up surrounded by some of the most interesting the plentiful caves in Kalos. And because of that, she’s a prolific cave-diver and gem hunter.
- She’s very good at identifying when something special is hidden in rock through a faint sliver, even in a cramped space illuminated only by a headlight.
Sleuthing:
- Due to her hobby in rock collecting requiring the need to identify rocks requently, Souadou is very, very good at finding things out. Be it through a library or simply a search engine deep dive, Souadou is efficient at putting things together.
Relationships
⠀Tiphanie – QPP
Tiphanie and Souadou have been best friends since middle school, and it’s uncommon to see them apart for more then a couple days, at most. Souadou feels as though Tiphanie understands her on a deeper level, and would do anything to keep her safe – a feeling only intensified after the Flare incident. Souadou frequently reserves special stones to give to Tiph as gifts.
⠀Amalthea – Admires greatly
Souadou was instantly able to recognize Amalthea as the person who revived her after her accident, and now that the two are in semi-regular contact, Souadou treats Amalthea with an air of upmost respect… or tries to, anyways. Because Souadou was raised by a single father, she’ll often treat Amalthea a bit like a mom she never had, which can lead to her breaking self-imposed formalities.
⠀Aurelien – Tense around
She finds Aurelien to be incredibly imposing, and worries she may have ulterior motives into taking Tiphanie in after learning she’s a mob leader. However, due to reassurance from Amalthea, Souadou is calmer around Aurelien than she is around Aya.
⠀Aya – Fears
The two have a tense relationship, due to both Aya’s keen eye of Souadou’s gem collection, and because Souadou has Aya’s identity as a mafia leader figured out – and isn’t ok with Tiphanie being involved. Still, for Tiph’s sake, they’re at a standstill.
Trivia
- Yes, she plays Minecraft. However, she’s nowhere near as good at it as Tiphanie is – the two share a 2-player survival world together – that has been invaded by Aurelien and some of her underlings.
- She’s a big fangirl of Steven Stone. Not for his glamorized visage in the Pokemon League, but for how impressive his rock collection is. She hopes to be able to exchange gemstones with him one day.
- Carbink seem to be naturally attracted to her, even wild ones – sometimes following her home.
- She used to have a day job with upkeep of the rock and fossil displays the the Cyllage gym, but quit after Tiphanie’s initial death.
