Years ago, Suika was just another college student from Megalopolis working on her thesis. But when she transferred to Ultra Station to continue her research, and wound up in the wrong part of the city… a chance encounter changed everything.
Suika’s thesis was centered around her theories of what happened to the Station’s old leader, Tonantzintla – who she believed was trapped in a buried machine that had the potential to control the moon palace of Lunaires. It was the last part about controlling Lunaires that caught the attention of a rather notorious figure – that being Yuugi, the Station Underdeck’s crimeboss.
Though the two had vastly different outlooks, ideals, and goals, they were able to reach a mutual consensus to work together. While Yuugi did much of the front facing work and direct conflict ‘resolution’, Suika pulled strings behind the scenes.
One of these instances of string-pulling involved… hiring a hitman to assassinate the Pheromosan Kingdom’s queen, in order to try and spark a conflict that would lead to the summoning on Tonantzintla.
But… that conflict never happened.
However, despite it all, it would seem the crime family’s newest recruit would hold the key Suika was waiting for – the question now, is how much of the pie will she be let to have after it’s over?
Appearance
Suika is 5’5″, with a slender build. She has black hair and red eyes, and like many from around Megalopolis, she has skin with a grey undertone due to lack of light.
She has rounded ears on top of her head, adorned with 3 spike piercings each. Just under these ears, she also has red vestigial wings, as well as another pair on her hips. She has a small rounded tail and paws.

Personality
Suika is very deadpan, in stark contrast to her partner’s loud and overwhelming attitude. She always seems tired, whether it be of Yuugi’s nonsense or just in general.
She’s hard to get close to, and every interaction with her seems to end with her speaking sharply. Very rarely does she outwardly show enthusiasm or joy.
She definitely has a superiority complex, though isn’t quite as obvious about it as Yuugi is. Still, she always thinks she’s better than anyone she meets… with the sole exception being when she finally met Tonantzintla.

Skills
Knowledge:
- Suika is very knowledgeable about a lot of things, but her specialty comes with knowing the ins and outs of things considered ‘occult’ or ‘taboo’. While many would brush certain things off as conspiracy or nonsense, Suika digs deeper to truly understand the reality of these anomalies.
- Particularly, due to her proximity to Yuugi combined with her thesis work, Suika has a very unique understanding of both nihiltoxin and divine energy… which she discovered to be a very powerful combo.
Relationships
Yuugi – Crime family member
Yuugi and Suika rarely agree – but as much as they’d refuse to admit, they’re each other’s greatest ally and they mutually cover each others weaknesses well.
Tuesday – Crime family member
While Tuesday was the latest addition to the crimeboss family, Suika still respects Tuesday’s skills – but also thinks she can be a bit too ‘soft’.
Qing’e – Bodyguard?
Suika did a semi-botched necromancy on Qing’e, in hopes that she’d be able to get the details of the bunker. But Qing’e managed to retain control over her body and mind once reanimated, and refuses to talk, pissing Suika off. Still, Suika keeps her around just in case – and because a shambling reanimated corpse is good for intimidation.
Amity – Subject of interest
In Suika’s eyes, Amity holds the ‘key’ for her goal. However, she finds Amity’s flightiness and lack of dedication annoying and hard to work with.
Isa – Cousin
Despite Suika’s objections, Isa was sent to stay with her while her family sorts some things out. Suika appreciates her willingness to do dirty work if needed, but couldn’t be less thrilled about the other teens she hangs out with.
Rosetta – Despises
The fact that, despite all of Suika’s work, that Rosetta managed to get what she wanted… it’s infuriating. All she seemed to do was get in Suika’s way, and for that, Suika hates her.
Tonantzintla – ???
While Suika wanted so desperately to summon them… she wasn’t quite expecting Tonan to be like this. After the initial shock of the old god treating her akin to a purse dog wore off, Suika is… fine with it? For the most part, at least.
Pandora – Former hire
Pandora was hired by Suika to take out the Pheromosan queen – though due to the secrecy involved, neither knew the other’s true identity.
Trivia
- While Suika is a moderately heavy drinker, she’s not a fan of anything heavier than just beer.
- Out of the three big bosses, Suika is the one who leaves the underdeck the most, mostly to do errands.
- She practically did an appearance 180 upon beginning to work with Yuugi, and is unrecognizable even to family.
- She used to manage finances, until she contracted Pandora – in which Yuugi reprimanded her by giving Tuesday control instead.
Meta commentary
- Suika and Yuugi are named after the respective characters from Touhou – though Suika was originally planned to be named after Ibaraki Kasen, before I found Suika stuck better.
